NO-SHOW & CANCELLATION

We love our hairdressers and we know you do to! We also understand that sometimes it is necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments. We kindly ask that you give us a minimum 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If an appointment is rescheduled or cancelled within the 24-hour period, you will be charged 50% of the full scheduled service price.

We make sure every guest is made aware of our No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy when scheduling an appointment over the phone or through text message/email reminders.

We will secure each guest’s billing information on file prior to scheduling any service.

• When an appointment is missed, we will automatically charge 50% of the scheduled service price to the card on file.

• If necessary, the next appointment cannot be scheduled without amending the missed or late-cancelled appointment (including missing appointments due to late arrival).

When a No-Show/Late Cancellation occurs, it takes large blocks of time that impact our hairdressers and other guests. We understand that sometimes things happen, however, we try to respect our hairdressers’ time as much as we try to respect yours.

RUNNING LATE
We understand, life is crazy and things happen. However, if you are running more than 30 minutes late according to our clock, the appointment may have to be rescheduled. We will do what we can to get you in as soon as we can. Please let us know as soon as possible if you’re going to be late. No-Show & Cancellation Policy may be applied.

HAIR SERVICE ADJUSTMENT
If there is something that you do not love about your hair service, we want to make it perfect for you. Please contact the salon within 3 days of your original service and we will gladly do what it takes to make it perfect for you!

NEW CLIENT/NEW STYLE CONSULTATION
We require a complimentary consultation prior to all new client hair services. This consultation allows the hairstylists and the guest to discuss the vision and pricing for the hair services.

PRODUCT RETURN
All products after final sale is non-refundable or cannot be returned.

CHILDREN
As a community focused salon, Abena Aforo Salon welcomes families and children. However, due to safety considerations, children, ages 8 and under, are not permitted in the salon if they are not receiving a service. If a parent brings a child, age 8 or under, to the salon during the parent’s service, the service will need to be rescheduled at a later time when the child is not accompanying the parent.
In the case of a child coming in to receive a service, to ensure the safety of the children and guests at Abena Aforo Salon. The liability is too great for Abena Aforo Salon to assume responsibility for children in an environment that has many dangers present for children.

ANIMALS AND PETS IN THE SALON
No animals or pets shall be allowed in a salon, with the exception of fish kept in closed aquariums, or trained animals to assist the hearing impaired, visually impaired, or the physically disabled.
